As a triple threat (actress, dancer, host), Anya’s credits include ABC's "Dancing With The Stars” television series, tours, and live shows, India’s DWTS “Jhalak dikhhla Jaa,” numerous Ballroom and dance competition titles (US Salsa Champion and ESPN World Latin Champion), television appearances ( Fox's “Bones,"  CBS "Guiding Light,” National Geographic’s "Incredible Human Machine,” Apprentice, ABC “Baby Daddy”), and live performances ( Luis Miguel, Celia Cruz, Mary J. Blige, Kenny G, Plácido Domingo, LeAnn Rimes, Gotan ProjectRod Stewart, Ceelo Green, Broadway Musical “SWING”, “In Your Arms,” and “Ballroom with a Twist.").  She is also the best supporting actress nominee for her role in “Fascinating Rhythms.” starring Melissa Manchester. 

Anya is grateful to have had the chance to travel, perform and teach in over forty countries. She grew up in Berkeley, CA where she trained at Berkeley Conservatory Ballet and traveled to NYC to study with Joffrey Ballet School. She received her BA at UCLA. Growing up she participated in exchange programs and lived with families of other cultures every chance she could (Yurok Native American Tribe, Russia, Mexico, France).  After a trip to Cuba she fell in love with Latin Music and Dance which led her to dedicate years to Competitive and Social Latin Dancing. She also lived in Seville, Spain to study Flamenco. On her adventures in various countries, Anya met persons and heard stories that inspired her - she created AnyaTV productions to share the stories of everyday heroes around the world.
